Monte Marcum brings nearly 20 years of strategic sourcing and global supply chain management experience to his role as a Managing Director at Trascent. Across his career, Monte has cultivated an extensive supplier network and developed a broad and effective strategic approach to his position leading the company’s North American and European operations. He provides broad, innovative perspectives and advice on outsourced operations and service delivery strategy development for his clients, making him an invaluable asset to the Trascent team.
Throughout his career, Monte has led efforts to source and negotiate more than $7 billion in total contract value for integrated FM and another $1 billion across real estate services and other categories. During that time, Monte also advised several of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies in navigating first and second generation integration of facilities management initiatives. His responsibilities included leading contract negotiations, contract governance, and implementation of contracts with five-year total values ranging from $400 to $850 million.
Monte received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University, both with Magna Cum Laude. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
